FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in America. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.

Tim Schneckloth

Tim SchnecklothCo-Director

Tim was born and raised in Eldridge, Iowa. He graduated from North Scott High School in 1986 and St. Ambrose University in 1991 with a BA in History. He owned and operated GT Sports Unlimited, which is an embroidery and customized apparel business, from 1994 to 1999. Tim has been Area Director for Illowa FCA since November 1999, serving the Iowa-Illinois Mississippi River valley. Tim is a licensed professional snow ski instructor at Chestnut Ski area. His family, wife and three girls are avid skiers as well. 

 Dan Pearson

 Dan Pearson, Co-Director

Dan Pearson joined the Illowa FCA Staff in August 2011. After 29 years as a television sports journalist, 24 in the Quad Cities television market, Dan combines ministry and journalism as an Co-Director. Among his duties, Dan will produce video reports on area athletes and coaches which can be viewed at www.illowafca.org. This will be part of his responsibilities with FCA. He will serve current Illowa FCA Huddles and help create new ones. He will help equip and enable Huddle coaches and student leaders to present the Gospel message and disciple FCA participants. Dan has eleven years of experience as a huddle coach in Geneseo, IL as he enters full time ministry. That commitment to serving Christ brings momentum as an Area Director. Dan was the first Quad City journalist to win a regional Emmy Award. His work on the popular KWQC "Highlight Zone" was one of many broadcast awards in his career. The relationships already built with hundreds of area coaches and athletes through his work in broadcasting is an obvious plus as he follows God's call to the FCA ministry. Dan and his wife Gina live in Geneseo where Gina is a Kindergarten teacher. They have two grown daughters, Amanda and Katie, who were both active in FCA during their high school years.

Mary Jo Donahoe

Mary Jo Donahoe, Administrative Assistant 

Like many children, Mary Jo was born…in Davenport, Iowa. Mary Jo studied Music Education at Augustana College (RI) with emphasis in vocal and piano. Following college she worked in the financial services industry for 25 years prior to being called into the ministry. Mary Jo joined FCA in 2007 as Administrative Assistant in the Illowa area. Mary Jo enjoys softball and snow skiing with her husband, Tom. Mary Jo and Tom have two Schipperke dogs. The nickname for the breed is “little black devils” and they keep them on their toes.
