Q – Can my parents watch me at the clinics?
A – Certainly, parents are always welcome at our clinic sessions.
Q – What are the emergency phone numbers during camp?
A - Emergency phone calls or messages can be made or left at (641) 628-5288 (from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. CST) and after hours as follows:

Q – When do campers have to get up in the morning?
A – It is expected your Wake-Up Call will be no later than 6:45 a.m.
Q – How late can campers stay up?
A – “Lights Out” are out at 11:00 each night. FCA is committed to hosting the best camps possible. One important aspect of that is for all campers to get a good night’s rest each night so they can perform at their best each day!
Q – Can a camper play in all the sports during camp?
A – No, the goal of the Multi-Sport Camp is for the camper to choose from the several choices of sports and focus on that sport during the camp week.
Q – What is the cancellation/no show fee for camp?
In keeping with the National FCA Camp Cancellation policy, if you cancel prior to the start of Camp, the deposit, less a $50.00 service fee, will be refunded. After the start of Camp, the $100.00 deposit is nonrefundable; however, substitutions may be made. Call 515-727-1868 if you have any questions.
Q – Can I bring extra money for snacks & pop?
A – You are encouraged to bring extra money only for merchandise and snacks. There will be plenty of food options at Central College’s cafeteria. It is a buffet style.
Q – When will merchandise be sold during camp?
A – Camp merchandise will be sold each lunch and supper of the camp week, except Friday. It will be located near the entrance of Central College’s cafeteria. It will also be available at the registration line on Monday, the first day of camp.
Q – Where is the nearest airport near Pella? How do I get to the camp from the airport?
A – There is an airport located 50 minutes from Pella. The Des Moines Airport website is www.dsmairport.com to find more details. The Central/Western Iowa FCA Office can provide transportation to and from the Des Moines airport. Call (515) 727-1868 to make arrangements.
Q – What equipment do I need to bring for football camp?
A – The football portion of the Multi-Sport camp is a 1/2 pad camp: Helmets & Shoulder Pads Only. Bring your own helmet & pads or pay $25.00 for pad rental provided by Central College (make checks payable to Iowa FCA and mail it in with your Pella, IA camp enrollment)
Q – Can I request a roommate at camp?
A - Campers and their huddle leaders will be housed right at Central College's dormitory. For over 50 years the FCA Camps program has worked best when friends, classmates and siblings are not housed together at Camp. Roomate requests cannot be honored. (Special situations will be reviewed.)
