FCA MULTI-SPORT CAMP

It is easily accessible from major highways/Des Moines or Cedar Rapids airports.  The campus is approximately one hour east of Des Moines.

Bos Landen Golf Resort

It is easily accessible from major highways/Des Moines or Cedar Rapids airports.  The golf resort is approximately one hour east of Des Moines.

Bos Landen, which means "Land of Woods" in Dutch, is a beautiful golf resort nestled in 350 acres of rolling hills.  This golf community, which was started in 1994, features a scenic five-acre lake and 200 year-old oak and hickory trees, and it provides players with natural beauty and a challenging, yet enjoyable, golfing experience.

Transportation: 
Transportation to and from camp is the responsibility of the camper.  Contact the Central/Western Iowa FCA Office at (515) 727-1868 for pick-up and drop-off guidelines for the Des Moines International Airport  Early arrivals will have an additional cost. 

Arrival/Departure:
Campers should plan to arrive at Camp on the day Camp begins (Monday Registration is usually from 10:30 - 1:00 p.m.) and leave the day Camp ends (usually around 12:00 noon).

Directions:
All campers can be dropped off and picked up at Central College's Fieldhouse. 
Directions are available on-line.

Facilities:
Housing, Meeting Rooms & Cafeteria are air-conditioned.  Central has a beautiful campus with a canal running through it.  The Cafeteria is a "Food Court" with multiple choices.

Housing/Roomates:
Campers and their huddle leaders will be housed right at Central College's dormitory.  For over 51 years the FCA Camps program has worked best when friends, classmates and siblings are not housed together at Camp.  Roomate requests cannot be honored.  (Special situations will be reviewed.)

  5:00 p.m. - Clean-up / Free time
  5:30 p.m. - Dinner
  7:00 p.m. - Evening Team Meeting
  8:30 p.m. - Free Time
  9:00 p.m. - Huddles / Adult Social

Camper Fees:
Multi-Sport Camp: $330 before July 1st, 2008
$345 after July 1st, 2008 ($100 Deposit with enrollment)

Golf Camp: $430 before July 1st, 2008
$445 after July 1st, 2008 ($100 Deposit with enrollment)

- After enrollment, there is a non-refundable cancellation fee of $50.00, and a non-refundable no-show fee of $100.00.

- Camp Scholarships may be available through an FCA office, church or family/friend.

The camp cost listed will cover all on-site expenses, room, meals, greens fees (if applicable) instruction, FCA Bible, T-shirt, water bottles and insurance.

Campers are encouraged to bring extra money only for FCA Merchandise on sale throughout the week of camp.
