Who is a camp huddle leader?
More than 1,000 college student-athletes will serve as Huddle Leaders this summer at FCA Camp. They will work directly with a small group of campers. The Huddle Coordinator selects these leaders for the Camp; a trained and certified FCA Camp Leader. Each Huddle Leader is carefully handpicked, through careful screening, which includes an in-depth application process which includes references. Most are involved in the FCA ministry on their college campuses and many were once campers themselves. They are dedicated to Christ, not only at Camp, but in their everyday lives. Once selected, these leaders take part in a two-day on-site training program, in addition to the preparation work they do before arriving at Camp.
 Event Target Participants: FCA provides a week to remember for those who are entering, are currently on, or have been a member of an athletic team and who are in one of the following ages groups:Ages 13-18 or students entering 8th grade thru graduated 2008 seniors
Date: Saturday, July 11 - Friday, July 17, 2009
Time: Huddle Leader Training will start on Saturday afternoon & continue until Camp starts on Monday. Huddle Leader's Responsibilities will conclude on Friday with lunch & a short debriefing meeting.
Huddle Leader Cost: Seeing students impacted for Christ = priceless, none ($0.00)
Location: Multi-Sport Camp at Central College & Golf Camp at Bos Landen Golf Resort
Student Housing: Central College dormitories with your specific Huddle

If you're ready to take the next step to serve at the Pella, Iowa Camp, or another FCA Camp, you must complete and submit both the Ministry Leader Application and the Huddle Leader Application. Both forms are available to complete online.

Here's how the process works.
1. Fill out the MLA
2. Your local staff person will review your MLA.
3. Once approved, your MLA will remain on file with the FCA Home Office.

Huddle Leader Application
To be completed by anyone who desires to be a Huddle Leader at any FCA Camp. To complete the online Huddle Leader form, begin here or download and mail it to your local FCA staff person for processing.
